Electrify Now and the Energy Transitions Commission (ETC) are hosting two webinars on 22 October 2026 to launch the ETC’s upcoming briefing note, “Electrifying the Global Economy: Coordinating Clean Power and Demand at Scale”.
The webinar aims to build momentum behind the COP31 “35 by 35” electrification target – raising electricity’s share of global final energy demand from around 21% today to 35% by 2035 – and recommend action plans for countries to achieve this target.
Each session will showcase key insights from the global Electrification briefing, presented by the ETC co-Chairs Lord Adair Turner and Jules Kortenhorst, and feature a panel of leading global electrification players discussing the opportunity from a business perspective.
